Privacy Policy

Cordially lets you create invitations on your iPhone and collect replies from your guests on a web page. This policy explains what we store, why, and how to delete it.

What we store

Your account. When you first create an event, the app gets an anonymous account: a random identifier and a secret key stored in your iPhone's Keychain. We don't ask for your name, email or phone number.

Your events. The title, date, place, program, questions, design image and other details you enter, so your guests can see them.

Your guests. The names you give your guests, the group you put them in, how many people each invitation is for, and the language you choose for them. Guests' phone numbers and email addresses stay on your iPhone: you send invitations from your own phone, so they are never uploaded.

Guests' replies. Whether they're coming, how many adults and children, which parts of the event, answers to your questions, an optional message to you, when they first opened the invitation and when they checked in.

Notifications. If you allow notifications, your device's push token, used only to tell you about new replies.

Purchases. Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check whether your account has Pro; RevenueCat receives your anonymous account identifier and your purchase history.

What we don't do

No ads, no tracking across apps or websites, no selling or sharing of data with data brokers, no analytics SDKs. Invitation pages are not indexed by search engines.

Where it's stored

On our server in Helsinki, Finland (Hetzner Online), over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

How long

Until you delete an event or your account. You can delete a single event in the app, or everything in Settings › Delete My Data, which removes your account, events, guests, replies and images from our server immediately.

Guests

If you received an invitation: your reply goes only to the host who invited you. To change it, use the same link. To have your reply removed, ask the host or write to us.

Children

Cordially is meant for adults who organize events. It is not directed at children.

Your rights

You can access (Settings › Export My Data), correct and delete your data at any time. For any privacy request, including under the GDPR or CCPA, contact akbaralixasanov2000@gmail.com.
